Frequently asked questions
- Can I invoice a deposit and then progress statements from the same quote?
- Yes, that is the normal cycle: the deposit is a percentage of the signed quote, progress invoices bill the work done and deduct what was already invoiced, and the balance closes the job. Every document stays attached to the original quote.
- Can the client sign the quote remotely?
- Yes. You send a link, the client opens the quote on their phone, signs with a finger and you are notified. They have no account to create, and the deposit invoice is generated from the signed quote.
- Are the legal notices on my documents up to date?
- Numbering, quote validity, the “agreed” wording, applicable VAT, ten-year insurance and payment terms are carried by the document from your company settings.
