Trade case · Masonry

The structure goes up, the paperwork keeps up

A structural opening, a slab, an extension that runs for three months: masonry ties up cash — material bought up front, hours poured in, payment at the end. MaitreChantier takes the deposit, invoices the progress and shows the margin while the job is still open.

Your day-to-day, point by point

The situations that eat your evenings — and what the platform does about each of them.

Today

You fund the material and get paid at the end

With MaitreChantier

A deposit invoice is generated from the signed quote, then progress invoices during the work — the amounts already invoiced are deducted for you.

Today

Concrete, blocks and skips are paid for and forgotten

With MaitreChantier

Every purchase is booked against the job: you compare what you spent with what you sold, without waiting for the accountant.

Today

Progress invoices are recalculated by hand each month

With MaitreChantier

Invoice a percentage of the signed quote: the platform computes the amount, deducts the previous invoices and keeps the numbering straight.

Today

Two jobs, one crew, and a schedule on a whiteboard

With MaitreChantier

The planning shows the whole company's week; moving a job shifts its slots without unpicking the rest.

What you gain, every week

Deposit and progress invoices

The invoicing cycle of building work is built in: deposit, progress invoices, balance and credit notes, chained to the signed quote.

One page per job

Quotes, invoices, purchases, hours and schedule for a job sit on the same page — no folder to hunt for.

Supply orders under control

Concrete, blocks, steel: what is ordered, expected and delivered late is visible before the crew is standing idle.

Your works, your prices

Structural opening, block wall, screed, demolition: priced per square metre or linear metre, with your own cost price.

Margin while the job runs

Signed amount, invoiced amount, spend, margin: the four figures that tell you whether to hold the price or renegotiate.

Crews planned per week

Assign your teams, see the overlaps and shift a job in one move when the weather decides otherwise.

What a masonry quote looks like

Signed, this quote gives the deposit invoice, then the progress invoices, then the balance on handover.

The MaitreChantier dashboard: collected, still owed, quotes awaiting an answer and twelve months of revenue
What you open in the morning: what has been collected, what is still owed, which quotes are waiting for an answer.

The deposit collected before the first block

The signed quote carries its deposit percentage: the deposit invoice is generated in one click, and the progress invoices that follow deduct what has already been billed. You stop funding your client's job out of your own pocket.

How it goes, from quote to payment

1

Price the structure

Take your works from the library, enter the surfaces, watch the estimated margin move as you adjust the price.

2

Take the deposit, then build

The deposit invoice goes out on signature; purchases and hours are booked against the job as the work rises.

3

Invoice the progress

Each month, a progress invoice for what is done; on handover, the balance — with the earlier invoices already deducted.

Frequently asked questions

Do you handle progress invoices on a long job?
Yes: invoice a share of the signed quote as often as you need, the amounts already invoiced are deducted automatically.
Can I track what a job actually cost me?
Purchases and labour hours are recorded against the job, and sit next to the invoiced amount so the margin is a fact, not a feeling.
I work for main contractors as well as private customers.
Clients can be companies or individuals, each with their own documents, history and payment terms.
